President

Rick is the President and Founder of GRB Engineering Ltd. Determined not to be caught in an environment of mergers and acquisitions, he took destiny into his own hands and founded GRB in 1999. His solid leadership and commitment to exceeding client expectations has enabled him to successfully grow GRB from 7 staff in year one to over 40 staff today.

Rick brings over 20 years of direct industry experience. He has held a number of executive and staff positions with local oil companies. Upon graduation, his first job was with Norcen Energy Resources as a production engineer and senior plant engineer. Norcen, which through a series of acquisitions, is now known as Anadarko, is a current GRB client.

Rick holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Production Technology Diploma from SAIT. His vision to become a petrochemical engineer, however, came long before these achievements.

As a father of three daughters, he enjoys his family time, be it on the lake or on the slopes.
