Procurement. At GRB, the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Client Engineer work closely to ensure that overall direction, planning, co-ordination and expediting of materials/services are properly handled between engineering design and procurement.

• Prepare bid request documents
• Evaluate bid submissions and make recommendations to the client
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for final procurement of equipment and materials
• Maintain purchase order (PO) records and update project cost reports to reflect issued POs.

Construction and Inspection Services. GRB has full capabilities to provide inspection services to its clients for both on-site and in-shop inspection.

During the construction phase, the on-site inspector reports daily on progress, costs, quality control and safety matters. Construction inspectors are on-site throughout the construction and start-up phases.

Shop inspection is recommended for project items that are manufactured away from the construction site. GRB’S shop inspectors visit the manufacturers shop once or twice weekly to report on progress, quality control and adherence to contract specification.
